
Get a peek into the work spaces and studios of some of Philadelphia’s own artists at this longstanding Philadelphia Open Studio Tours, an annual event run by the excellent Center for Emerging Visual Artists.
On October 3-4 and 17-18, the free tours (yes, free!) will return to more than 100 studios and artist workspaces in Philadelphia.
Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4 will focus on studios east of Broad Street, and Saturday, October 17 and Sunday, October 18 will focus on the spaces west of Broad Street. On tours, hear from the artists and learn about their workspaces, pieces of art and their creative process.
This weekend, embark on self-guided tours of studios like Art Star, 3rd Street Gallery, Da Vinci Art Alliance, Denise Fike, The Random Tea Room & Curiosity Shop and more.
Over the weekend of October 17 and 18, tour spaces like the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, Mt. Airy Art Garage, Greene Street Artists Cooperative, Metropolitan Gallery 250 and InLiquid Art & Design.

Those who are interested in attending a guided tour of the studios can pay $40 for guided trolley tours that will take place on Sundays, October 4 and 18. Tours will allow guests door-to-door service to a range of participating studios.
